For over 100 years, Anchor Stones have been made with natural ingredients:

• quartz sand
• linseed oil
• color pigment
• chalk

There are no plastics, phthalates, or any chemicals – only natural ingredients. The use of exclusively natural materials assures you a safe building experience.

When you open a set of Anchor Stones you experience the smell of this combination of ingredients – a pleasant aroma.

All of the raw materials, including the packaging, are either a renewable resource or plentiful beyond measure (quartz sand for instance.)

Ankerstein in Rudolstadt, Germany employs a diverse group of people who are compensated fairly in a cooperative and supportive environment. Stone production is a mostly handmade process from mixing, to pressing, to drying, and packaging.
